    yeah, the clasic base game sidequests, this keeps away a lot of people from the game. The best parts of the games are from the dlcs and you get to them pretty late, so if you cant endure the tedious part it's pretty easy to never experience them.

    is not for every one, I like because I'm a rpg, and specially MonHun enthusiast and the lore is pretty good so it's able to keep me invested in the story. Also helps playing it while talking with friends for the repetitive and tedious parts.

    the first game got pretty old pretty quick, is better to see or read the story of the first game, maybe even the second one but this one is still playable, and playing the third game with the DLCs if you want to try if the gameplay call you.

    Most of the game is just behind the base price, the DLCs are mostly deco block, with a couple exceptions that add more styles of utilities already in the game. Also sites like humble bundle usually have bundles whit the game and DLCs for a fraction of the total price.
