Please note that there are other issues as well. In my case the check boxes that are supposed to appear on the right of enable smol content and enable pregnancy are missing. I even changed the age in case that was the trigger for the smol content, but it is still borked. There is a patch.rpa... -

At a fresh start you are asked to choose if you want the kinetic novel or game mode. Do not choose the kinetic novel option - I couldn't get the patch to work with that mode. -

Password is to extract the patch. When you are in the game, there is a star icon on the top right of the screen. Click that to bring up the mod. -

I think this error happens because you chose to view smol content, but you don't have the smol content installed - not released here yet?. Dev screwed up the patch coding - you should not get the option to view smol content if the smol patch is not installed. -
