Because this way developer can hide lack of content and create an illusion of the game being long. You spend hours trying to find something specific and think you have spend time "playing". -

Natural just looks better so as long as that is the case, any size is welcome for me. I guess it is possible to make an exception for the games where it is plot related. Like corruption games.- kitknight

Thoughts on piercings?
Depends on the character. If character is supposed to be alt/goth girl and if the developer knows how to make it work, then it can create a memorable and unique character. But it is also easy to add too much or make it look weird.
