Do you make game saves when presented with said choices? Can make it easy/fun to see the consequences of what you pick but still easily access content you locked yourself out of.
I usually restart. If I'm hooked by a cliffhanger, then I'll remember the things going on enough anyway, but it has never happened once that I've been 'hooked' enough AND the update has come out quickly enough for that to happen.
Lots of tags is nice when it reflects that there are lots of options in otherwise simple scenes and stories. When it reflects that there are a billion 2-second scenes with one tag each, it feels convoluted, and disappointing as the 2-3 tags you really care about barely occur.

Virtually never, but will without hesitation if only one LI is interesting or if the LIs are written as being only begrudgingly accepting of a harem. This just usually isn't the case so is a non-issue.
The involvement of AI in a game's development would have no impact on whether or not I participate in it. The price of admission is a decision made based on the impression I get of a game's quality and subject matter from any promotional material available. I often skip past what I think is...
No. In any game, I always mute voices unless they're in a language I don't understand, in which case they can stay. A character's voice is an important part of who they are supposed to be but I can make that up in my head just fine, and generally actors speak much more slowly than I can read...
Troy: Total War would be my best answer. Age of Mythology is a classic answer. Zeus & Poseidon, if you like city builders. Titan Quest for ARPG. The original God of War games. Hades, if you like roguelikes. Rise of the Argonauts if you like third person adventure and can find a copy. Glory of...
