The sarcasm is strong with this one.
It all rings true though. A few of the early popular games (BB comes to mind) featured a scene like that and certainly it became all the rage. Incidentally, that same game featured a mom with two daughters (i.e. MC's older and little sisters), a mom who...
I have one simple rule - anything that can be done with mutual consent is OK. The fetishes outside of that category stay firmly in fantasies/games/etc...
D/s - Defending Lydia Collier (Stephanie's storyline in particular), Fetish Locatior's AmRose is another good example.
Corruption - A slow, methodical approach is best. Think Our Fate: A New Family (RiP)
Incest - Obvious one, with far too many examples to list here, but DmD and Milfy City are...
Okay, I seem to be in the extreme minority here, but that just hasn't happened to me with an adult game. Have I sometimes wished there was more content to see - sure, but that's about it. *shrug*
This +10. The irony is that without that part, I'm pretty sure I'd have loved the sequel more than the original. Ellie is awesome. But adding the Abbie part completely ruined the pacing and she was a horrible playing character.
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually loved...
It's almost impossible to pick just one. The original Akabur games were at the top for a time. Milfy City, Being a DIK and DmD also had a turn. Then there's Sisterly Lust, Parental Love, Proud Father, The Guardian, ...
Currently - Intertwined, Desert Stalker and SSP.
I'm not sure how much real immersion you can count on with adult games. As a general rule of thumb, if the writer gets me invested in the story and the fates of the characters (both MC and LIs), then that's a win in my book.
To be honest - usually no. If the preview images catch my attention, I'm likely to try the game for myself. If a game I've previously dismissed gathers particularly high ratings over time, I might give it a chance, but that's rare.
The MC from Intertwined is the first that comes to mind. You have enough control to make sure he doesn't go freelancing in a stupid direction and yet it still feels like he has a personality.
Altogether stopped? No. With that said, I do get something nagging in the back of my head when I switch paths in Intertwined after a recent playthrough. Luckily, the nagging passes quickly. :)
