Hopefully that means the developer is in a good place to keep the project trucking along at a healthy pace.
Adult oriented games and content is starting to see the respect and support it needs so hopefully over time we will see more projects get completed than left to the archives of the internet.
The visuals are nice the characters interesting, but it can be a bit of a slow burner up front and each time I have played it's made me start from the beginning so I always feel a bit wary of trying the next update that comes out.
Yep, maybe that is why I'm mentally programed to try and spot that once in a blue moon update, and I could likely do with having a proper sit down with this title so it sticks in my head better.
Really compelling characters, the "game" choices don't really feel meaninful but as a story it is very engaging mainly because the harem isn't just a bunch of dull achetypes and it's interesting to see a more healthy approach to the harem relationship dynamic.
The game really embraces what it wants to be narrative, with very engaging characters and events, but some of the mechanics currently feel a bit cobbled together especially with one character using basically a different interaction system than the rest.
The art style isn't for everyone but it has effort and a style seperating itself from the crowd, but the glacial pace of content and lack of direction can make it feel like your are just clicking about hoping something will happen.
The game has it's art style and it looks nice but it feels like they really need to focus on the gameplay over producing scenes that right now just serve to add to a gallery, like it knows what to parody but it hasn't found a way to make that core gameplay loop engaging and addictive yet.
I always check out this title time to time, because it's strength is the compelling characters, but I don't think it's a title that is easy to enjoy the journey with if it gets to a release point I could see it being worth it to dive into the wordy scenes for the relationships.
right now it can...
Feels like the title just needs to focus on making what it has fun, like the quality of a "trainer" style game isn't the number of characters but the quality of the interacts with each character.
So I'm currently a patch behind on this game but so far has been rather fun, it feels like the dev really wants to go full throttle, the pace the title is quickly setting up pay offs and plot conviences is rather impressive for a game of the genre, just hoping it doesn't end up feeling like a...
I'm amazed with the effort put into this game, like the stylized and abserdist take on this parody likely wont be to everyones taste, but it's like putting in way more effort and care than anyone would expect from a parody.
Yeah, it's the same issue with art it feels so much quicker to just do what you know, that picking up something else doesn't feel worth it for a long time but if you avoid it to long you can find yourself hitting into walls more and more as your growing ambitions hits butts heads with the...
I always feel like this will be a game I will never see the end, because I currently have a older version installed, but because it is listed as "complete" but also keeps getting updates I just never know when is the right time to download and finish it.
I'm sure that is they they have a impressive list of games on the engine, It just when playing this one it makes me wonder if the engine is helping them or hindering them like if they find themselves bumping into limitations more as they try to push the engine away from what it was originally...
The game is really pretty, but I wonder if the engine choice is acting more like a limitation with a game like this, just a feeling I have when playing but not a coder to really explain but the naming for the "true story" is the best place to look with how it feels a bit to strict like only one...
