I mean for me, it depends if the scenes are good or not. But the idea of those games still thrills me because it makes you feel like a Chad avoiding those pitfalls where others have fallen. Just a little achievement in itself if you win on a first try lol
As for games. I guess I'll still go for the original Mario and Pokemon games. Something about those music will always give me nostalgia and just makes playing those games just even better
I think it depends on how far along you are. If you are barely starting like less than 1 year, then redoing some old scenes would be fine but don't just take too long. Otherwise, just make new chapters because readers have already moved on from what scrappy mess you made and are just waiting for...

For me, it depends on how much time I have and willing to spend on games. Grind games are really good if I can get myself immersed in the story and all of the mechanics. However, if the grind goes on for too long and getting rewarded too long then I would rather have a straight to the point...
