This is gonna sound insane, I've never actually read the entire story of it but I've heard the story of Euphoria is really good if you can get past all of the less pleasant stuff

No game has ever gotten as many hours out of me as genshin impact. I know that it's prob not the best game i've played but it's definitely the one i enjoy playing the most
Depends on the game, I play genshin so i play the patches on day 1 but for other gamer i usually leave it a few days for optimised drivers to be released so i can get a proper stable experience
I enjoy the minigames in SOME games, if they're completely out of place or are extremely buggy then i hate them but if they're there for good reason and actually add/enhance gameplay then im all for them
More than anything we need games with a bit more polish to them, a lot of games feel very overbloated with systems or things are a bit buggy everywhere, or there is next to no performance optimisation. Just things that a game with a proper design concept gets right
Massively prefer sandbox but in a good way with each characters having their own story, don't know if it counts as sandbox but one of my recent favourites was dorm manager
