To be fair I did give subs a heads up when releasing this episode to try and quell any uncertainty towards the seemingly nefarious direction, and I probably should've done so here as well. But I promise this is no and was planned all along as part of the core story.

It's a few mocaps, converted. It renders in real-time unlike daz, so it's much faster but the visual quality pales in comparison to what's possible with daz.

Don't get too excited, episode three is pretty short, which is why I was able to get it out early. I'm just going to be too busy irl to do much dev work the next two weeks so I wanted to get something out <3

Quick note, even though season two is a separate game, you'll want to use unused save slots so it doesn't overwrite saves from season one. I think I've got that issue...
I did upgrade my GPU recently, and while it won't magically make vam look any better, it does help with animation fps which makes them a bit smoother looking with less post-work. Otherwise everything should still be the same-ish.
