I'll do some looking around to see if I can find what the issue may be. Do other ren'py games work fine for you? (my other game Sparkling Duplicity for example has the cutscenes coded and encoded the same way) Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, I just tested the download from this...- Goosenards

I meant for what platform, PC Mac or Android? I can only playtest the PC version, but I've not yet had any other reports of black screens, maybe try the codec pack that @elfieeven suggested. I'm assuming you mean Nari? Every story needs a heel. :giggle:- Goosenards
