    Problem is AVNs aren't known for pushing the envelope when it comes to good writing. There are exceptions, but they are rare. I agree these tropes are pretty tired.

    I have. I tried using one for a fun roleplaying narrative. It isnt good at advancing the story or describing the world, its memory sucks and can't remember who it is, and if I describe a scene it just repeats what I wrote back to me in dialogue. I can't be arsed to pay for the "premium" version...

    Apparently I'm in a minority. I remove it because if I need to go back i just scroll up. If I need to save it's right click, left click, right click again, and done. If i'm saving it's probably a choice I want to go back to anyways.

    What's the deal with games sharing locations/models? Does it bother you?

    The models are made by creators that are uploaded to the Daz store, and they are bought by devs making VNs. You can tweak them, which most do, but they still look similar to their original designs. Others can't be bothered and just use the asset as is. Same goes for certain set pieces.

    Why refuse to play games not made with Renpy?

    I don't like HTML games and I have not found an RPGM that I like yet. One of my favourite games is made on Unity. If you mean VN, I like renpy because it has rollback in case I miss something I can scroll up and reread it. I don't think I've ever seen a truly complete game in unreal engine.

    I don't think I've made that connection. Not a big fan of games where the boobs are unrealistically big so I avoid. I'd love devs to include smaller boobs that make milk. I'd probably like it more.
