McDonalds. They used to be a place to get cheap food fast. Now they're expensive and going to a regular restaurant or somewhere else is more worth it for better taste and quality.
I tend to stray away from puzzle mechanics as they are generally time consuming and grindy. Stuff I can skip or go through quickly are generally better for me since my time is limited after work.

I'm a fan of them if they're not poorly designed. I've played some bad ones where the progression is just terribly slow and any further progression requires a massive amount of resources or is exponential for a small amount of content. Although, some people may prefer that, I tend to like games...
Either or works. Just has to be written well and not random bullshit. I prefer them to be female in unity games though, some of the male character models I've seen are just ridiculous.
