Easter eggs are a lot of fun. Like you said, it not only gives a player something extra to do, it also opens up many different avenues for secret content you can't naturally include. It's honestly not that much trouble coding wise. It works with a basic synonym system, so it's not that intense or anything. Only requires me to pick and choose which words should trigger a similar response. -

In my opinion, they don't mix very well. I've never seen any porn games out there that had good horror and good porn mechanics. But I'm also quite critical of the horror genre in general, throwing in jumpscares or making a scene dark or bloody is not horror.- Kaeru

Do you prefer games with multiple choices that affect the story or a linear story where choices don't affect anything?
If the story is good, I don't mind the choices not affecting the gameplay much. If the story is about a self-insert MC, I expect a wild a variety of choices that have heavy consequences.- Kaeru

Some pretty great advice in here, but I see a lot of subjective stuff in here as well. One piece of advice I'd give is that it's better to make your game in your native language if you're not fluent enough to release it in English. Are game developers cursed?
Several reasons I imagine. Lots of adult game devs are either small teams or solo devs, so if anything happens, the updates will get delayed massively. You will rarely hear about cases of this happening in bigger game studios, because it's frankly not important to let the public know their life...- Kaeru
