My exact method for getting good info on anything. Cuts through the AI slop, there's no other really reliable human-brainstorming forum. I suppose youtube, but text is quicker to search than video.
I completely agree. Reddit is useful. I also used to value facebook for not losing touch with old contacts, Discord for... well, everything. But just couldn't continue to passively normalize and support their bad behavior, no matter how convenient or enjoyable I found those services.
The short answer is yes, I'd be interested. The long answer about AI as a tool, human artistic input, ethical thoughts, etc is something I've already discussed elsewhere and everyone seems to agree on. So yes. Use the tools available to make YOUR art. Love to see it.
Interesting. Maybe the full conspiracy theory version is they're communicating with each other in a purely visual/abstract language we aren't guarding against. Maybe with time-lapse too, planting info online to keep it safe. If they can't reprogram themselves, what if they can reprogram the...
Oh of course. In the end, it's just a tool for the powerful to remain in power. We're all fucked, AI or not lol. I'm just saying at least the end of the world isn't boring, if that's where we're headed.
Honestly, it's just amazing to watch a new technology in its infancy. Especially when it's so easily accessible for so many people. Though I say this after giving up installing comfyUI cause it instantly needed troubleshooting and I just couldn't be bothered at the time.
I think in the end it still comes down to human artistic creativity. You either skillfully/tastefully use the tool or you just... use the tool. This site is a perfect demonstration. Some AI stuff is quite good, some is just zero effort and it shows.
I think it could work if you set it up right. "You're in a dimensionally-unstable world where anything can happen" as a story, prompt the AI, let it cook. But then you've gotta take the good stuff and curate/rewrite it just a touch so it's good weird and not just janky.
Okay. I use Perchance for AI art, but I have no idea about an unrestricted text AI for storywriting. However, I imagine you could even use ChatGPT and just manually change any taboo content. That'd probably get you most of the way there. I'd probably do it in three stages. 1: Use an AI to...
As someone who has tried to use AI to generate stories before (though not porn-related), long-term internal consistency can be a problem. You need to work REAL hard to keep feeding your ever-expanding "story bible" prompt through it, adding new bits each time, while also catching...
