Yes, on the main island. Starting point from the area with small dunes close to main camp, if that might be important. They didn't pick it up at first so I believe you need the happiness and affection stats up quite high before they bring the Sadyr Roots. -

Banini and Gunana find them for you. I've read you need Long Search but I have gotten them from normal Search aswell.
