I've been surprised by enjoying games not reviewed well, and have disliked some that were highly rated with many reviews. As a rule though, its not a terrible ruler. I pay more attention to actual reviews that articulate why they did/didn't like it.
Watch/alert functions on forums are big. If I have a game consistently downloaded then that means I really enjoyed it and will take a little more time to double check on them periodically.
I'm not really against it, but it feels like a forced combination of media. And they are frequently disjointed (taking multiple different videos/actors in the same story) which takes me out of it.
As others have said, some hosts I like better than others. Mega, gofile, pixeldrain are my favorites. I ALSO never download a new thing just after posting. Gives folks time to discover those minefields for me
"simulator" games where you need to visit the same gym 35 times to get a scene, or ones where the story moves too quickly (i have more patience for slower progression than faster). Pacing is important.
Surprisingly close poll. Definitely more a fan of having the option for those that want it. Having to "earn" the gallery scene is kind of laughable to me. Its a porn game. Let people get their rocks off without needing to hunt through the entire game for a specific combination of choices.
For adult games? Definitely Midlife Crisis. I was such a fan of that game; I replay it often. Shame the creator vanished awhile back; hope they're doing alright.
Non adult? Elder Scrolls I have sunk a lot of time into the various games. Same with Mass Effect.
I mostly don't mind them - I just don't interact with the system. If they are required to access legitimate extra content (not just like an extra picture), then agreed. That's then a strong negative.
