I do the same. A gaming PC I built back in 2017 is basically worthless now, can't run Borderlands 2 without framerate issues at full graphics. All it can run is basically a browser and some RTS games. Yanked the HDD and gave it away.
Game is well done, just like all of Shaddy's mods. Currently a bit low on content, speed reading was about 2 hours worth. Animations are smooth and the harem is coming along nicely.
This is a great game for anyone interested in the netorase genre. It's the game that ended up breaking through the wall for me where NTR was a huge turnoff.
11/10 on the Long Road Home recommendation. I honestly think it could be positioned as a HBO hit show if done with an editor comparable to one from Sons of Anarchy with a reduction in sex scenes to a tasteful amount so it stays on air.
The corruption in this game is well paced. For being an older published game, the graphics are still holding up pretty well. Would recommend for anyone into corruption based games.
The game had different models for LIs in previous version. Still workable since the newer models appear to be well-proportioned young adults. Overall, still a solid game and looking forward to the next update.
I won't refuse to play any without at least reading reviews or the synopsis at the top of the main post. But often it's Sandbox due to most having excessive grind. It's difficult for immersion when the same actions need to be repeated or waiting day(s) to trigger specific flags. If there was...
Only played up to version 0.6, but easily the most comprehensive HS VN out there. Would be nice to see a visual upgrade to HS2 if/when the modding for it becomes comparable to HS1.
If the story is good enough, I think gameplay can be overlooked. Same can be said of gameplay exceeding expectations and outweighing other factors.
Example: my preference is for animation in AVNs, but Evenicle's gameplay still puts it in my top 5 list.
