The problem with sandboxes is that they usually aren't used to divide up a story into content the player can choose to engage with based on their preferences. It usually just ends up being an annoying map with a bunch of extra required button clicks to continue a story that would be better off...
So glad to see Dungeon Keeper already mentioned here, remember playing that game so damn much until I got into all the Blizzard stuff back then. I still have to play it every few years.
Midlife Crisis has been mentioned of course, but damn it has lots of content for an abandoned game and the consistency of good scenes is off the chart. It's worth the time for anyone avoiding it because it was abandoned imo.
I think it's an alright game, bless the walkthrough people on me actually sorta enjoying it though. It's a pretty basic story and the scenes are lacking imo.
Not a huge fan of games that are so convoluted you need a walkthrough to not just straight up miss content, but appreciate the modders who make the walkthroughs for the good ones like that. I don't mind choices that provide alternate content to be clear, just the ones that make you lose content...
Doesn't really matter much to me, but I do agree that the general rarity red hair catches the eye. I'm not really a huge fan of unnatural dyed hair colors, but it's never been a deal breaker.
Ren'Py just sorta works and the rollback function just works as long as the developer isn't dumb enough to disable it. Seems like the best Unity games are just mimicking Ren'Py, among the ones I've played of course.
I guess I can vaguely recommend Tomboy Supremacy (or other games by the developer) or Ravenous (Arc 1 is a bit of a slog, Arc 2 supposedly has more sexual content, had to take a break after Arc 1 though). These are both Ren'Py VN's though, might want to be a bit more specific about what kind of...
Only one on that poll I don't entirely dislike is sandbox, it's done so bad most of the time, but I think it also works well to separate content and allow content to be added to a game in a very clean, controlled way. It's a shame that it is just a pointless roadblock in most of the games it...
If the character art in this game appeals to you at all, it's a definite must play game. I'm patiently waiting for the developers next game to get completed before I play through it, but I know I'll play this one again eventually.
Liking the game so far, I liked the previous game by this developer as well until it turned into a bit of a jumble of stuff happening. This one seems to be staying on track and the characters are much better fleshed out.
The art is nice and a few of the scenes are pretty hot, but the number of images is so low, leading to stuff being explained on a black screen and not being shown and not enough art depicting the scenes. The MC is the laziest fuckin' guy as well, getting everyone to cook for him constantly...
This game is a giant heaping mess, there is a bit of good content in here, but my god how could anyone think introducing like 50 characters back to back would ever work out. There is a handful of interesting characters and then you have a plethora of hair color swapped clone characters with...
Tons of character variety, but that just sorta unravels as none of them get any real character development and it just becomes a messy porn clip mashup. I really liked some of the early game but it just gets to be too much to care about the convoluted story and character roster.
