Do ratings affect whether you download a game?
Indirectly. The reviews will cause me to skip a game, but if a game sounds good I only bother to check the reviews if it has a crappy rating. What do you think of html games with real people?
The problem is that the game developer usually doesn't say "OK, I have these images of <some porn actress> doing <this stuff>, so I need to write the story around that." Instead they write whatever they think makes for a good story, but since they don't have images for that exact stuff you end...- fairway
