    I think the dev is one of the better writers, and his writing has improved a lot since his first game. I think part of the problem is he tries to be way too ambitious. From most characters having hidden big reveal backstories to doing crossovers with other works to fourth wall breaking humor...

    Oh, god, I remember that feeling watching it on cable. Even worse is they didn't tell you 16 episodes, every preview felt like the next episode was actually going to end the arc. Watching them all together its a totally different feeling 'wait, this battle is going to take 2 and a half hours?'
