Wilhelm scream and other well-used effects

What would a dev have to do in a new update to make you stop playing a really good game?
The third round of "I reworked the start of the game to change it completely". The first rework is understandable as better ideas for the story or how to build the game come up. Divi-dead. The main story was pretty solid. It kept me going to see what would happen. What version number do you jump in at?
If the description sounds good without being vague, I jump in on the first release. If the write-up is lackluster, vague, or sounds like 5 other games, I wait for the version 0.03. By that point the dev usually knows if it's something they want to stick with or if they got bored/frustrated.- RedOwl

Naming The Love Interest(s)?
Abby is my go-to name for a female protaganist. Otherwise it varies from game to game. Like for Dating My Daughter I named her Tess. For Sunshine Love, the sister was Chloe and the cousin was Daphne. Daphne was probably from Scooby Doo. Redheads. They're a weakness.- RedOwl

On Hold VN Ren'Py [HS2] Evermore [v0.5.1] [Prometheus]
This game went a little darker than I expected. I'm looking forward to the next update. I like that the girls are cute but not cute for cute's sake. -

It's definitely a slow burn kind of game, but I'm not complaining. It feels like realistic conversations with the information dumps or all of the action coming out of nowhere. I like that it keeps me in suspense without dragging things to the point that I get completely frustrated. -

Loved this game. It's one that made me interested in the characters instead of just following along to see where things go. It gives the feeling of active involvement. I like that a lot better than "just click to proceed". -
VN Ren'Py DAZ The Daddy Plan [v0.0.9] [ShaddyGames]
I love how the characters have deeper thoughts than "the plot dictates this is what I do." It makes it feel less tongue in cheek like they have thoughts instead of being mindless dolls.
