    Yes, if your game was made in other engines - that criticism wouldn't exist, or at the very least it would transform. RPGM, WolfRPG and unity don't have those features by default, so there is no inherent expectation of them being in your game. Doesn't stop people from wishing for those features...

    "rewrite" = the original game is "on-hold". But even declared hiatuses and rewrites sometimes stretch into eternity. I guess that as long as dev is still around and keeps communicating - there will be reasons not to declare game "abandoned".
