why do so many have something against RPGM?
I think you have perfectly summed up what I was thinking but couldn't put into words. RPGM gives you the tools to create a game, but it only allows you to create a generic game if you don't want to spends your days fighting against the engine itself. As stated above, RPGM is outdated in more facets than one.
