    I have a much more advanced sense of "fun" than that, and actually playing sportsball is more enjoyable and healthy than sitting around eating junk food and having high blood pressure over some other persons actions.

    Very true, but in my list of playable grind games, most have cheats and dropping a stat usually doesn't lose the stats for events, I hope anyway.

    And the magazines that had codes for programs and games allowed adding software as needed, although typing in binary or hex to get a spreadsheet seemed like a nightmare of epic proportions with all the typos.

    And worse is when the action needs to meet not just a number criteria, like to raise a love stat or whatever, but also needs a specific time trigger that is never hinted at.
