Do you even read story?
You would be surprised how many times i found myself really immerse in the story of a game. sometimes in games i wouldnt even suspected. Some are really fun, and some have really good stories. If the script is bad, i may not even play the game. I suppose thats my bias in the matter. -

Do you guys prefer more cartoony/anime style games or more realistic looking games?
Both. I just want the game to be well writing, or be a good game. Art and animation (2D or 3D) can be really nice, but if the plot or text is bad, i just lose interest. A nice game loop can make a game really fun. But if have to choose, think realism is a little better- Crpapjda

Not really, no. I can read or play games where the MC is completly different from myself. I only need the game or character to be well writing. I can see and understand the character even if a disagree with it. I can despise or just hate the character in a personal way, but I will keep playing...- Crpapjda
