Overview:
You play as Claire — a young American woman who travels to Manila after her mother, a covert intelligence operative, vanishes without explanation. Recruited by a shadowy agency with no training and no backup, she goes undercover at a nightclub connected to an international criminal network.

Her mission: infiltrate the organization, gather intelligence, and find her mother. Her tools: her body, her wits, and whatever cover identity you build for her.
Blue Swallow is a narrative-first adult spy thriller with nearly 950,000 words of branching content — more than the entire Harry Potter series — and it's still in Act I of a planned three-act story. Every playthrough is different. Your character's background, personality, sexuality, body, skills, and choices reshape what you see, who you meet, who you sleep with, and whether you survive.

This is not a linear visual novel with sex scenes bolted on. This is a deep, reactive, stat-driven game where seduction is a spy tool, intimacy has consequences, and the writing treats you like an adult in every sense of the word.

It's been a lot of writing over the past couple weeks. One of the most difficult aspects of approaching this release has been where to draw a line in the sand. There's a TON of content between the approach, waiting, event and outro, so it certainly needs to be split into a couple releases. So as I've written, I've been trying to find the most natural place to put a release break. As I mentioned the last progress report, the structure for the Big Event has evolved into the following:
  • The nights up to the event, whether or not Claire reported in and whether or not she's working it. Which means there's a couple small bifurcations and one larger one: Does she try to get herself picked if she wasn't selected beforehand.
  • This is then split up into the three sub-paths: is she a working girl? bargirl? dancer?
  • Then there's the day 'of' the Big Event with an EROS check-in and plan of action (if she reported in to them first). If she's not working the Big Event, she can make a choice of how she wants to approach being an agent in the field on that evening.
  • The night of the Big Event. Either as an agent in the field operating on the outside, included in the Event and operating on the inside, OR blissfully unawares of EROS' desires and potentially just working a night at the club or at the event without contact with the agency. <-- Heading into this portion is where it seems to be the most natural break between 0.9.2 and 0.9.3.
  • Wrapping up the Big Event. Checking in with EROS or not, confirming results and next steps.
Meanwhile (when my brain needed breaks), I've gone through probably 15,000 or so lines of code and added in missing speech bubbles. That's over half of the existing Club portions and will likely be hitting some more stretches. Soon there won't be any missing sections! I hope this cleans up the play and makes it more interesting on the eyes, easier to read and comprehend.

AND There was one bargirl event that hadn't been added to working at the Club that I'm in process of including.

On the art end of things: we've finished up the last of the new outfits for the au pair arc. It's a sexy little 'roleplay-ey' kind of thing for Claire's wardrobe. A hint of Mary Poppins and whatnot.

All the pixel art for her clothing has been updated to include the new cupsize, HD art to round out in the next month or so.

I've also gone back to the contractor that has been working on Claire's mom and we're going to get her headshots in the game as soon as the work is done. Lots of variations, depending on how Claire looks.

Long story short: probably a couple more days on 0.9.2, which currently has 3 new sex scenes (multiple variations within) and the test run of the Personalities! Because of the latter, new games will be necessary, so I'm going to try and run through and update all the Quick Save Claire's for 'easy access'.

Deep Character Creation You don't get a preset protagonist. You build Claire from conception through childhood, high school, prom, college or gap year, and into Manila. Her sexuality, her body type, her personality (prude to slut on a reactive scale), her skills, her relationship history — all defined by your choices, all carrying forward into the main game. A lesbian prom queen who backpacked through Europe plays a fundamentally different game than a bisexual dropout who got pregnant in high school.

Espionage Systems
Honeypot system: Cultivate and seduce targets for intelligence extraction. Each target has a unique arc structure based on their risk level and mission value — from zero-risk marks to targets who will kill you if you push too hard.
Club work: Three career tracks (dancer, bartender, escort) that each open different story paths, relationships, and intel opportunities.
Investigation arcs: Independent investigations that cost real in-game time. You can't do everything — choose what's worth pursuing.
Intel & reporting: Information gathered across all systems feeds into a central reporting node that unlocks downstream missions. What you report — and what you keep to yourself — matters.
Organizational suspicion: The people you're infiltrating are watching you too. Push too hard and they push back.

The Sex Every scene is explicit, detailed, and physically reactive. Your character's body type, breast size, pubic hair, height, sexual skills, kinks, and experience all affect what happens. Each partner is physically distinct. Encounters vary based on your skill progression — from inexperienced fumbling to expert manipulation. Seduction as tradecraft feels different from sleeping with someone you actually care about, and the game knows the difference.

Supported kinks include: exhibitionism, masochism, sadism, bondage, breath play, cheating, cum, breeding, older men, nympho, and consensual non-consent. All content is opt-in through your character's personality and choices.

The Writing The MC's voice is a performer's interiority — her cover persona bleeds into her private thoughts; her spy-brain manifests as dry humor, not exposition. NPCs have their own agendas. Information is incomplete. You're expected to read between the lines, weigh risks, and live with the consequences. The writing doesn't hold your hand.
Act I (current — semi-sandbox): Manila. The Club. Multiple quest pillars operating simultaneously — club work, escort missions, EROS espionage spine, honeypot system, side quests, and independent investigations. Paths open and close based on your actions, choices, and timing.

Act II (planned — CYOA): Jungle waystation south of Manila. Two non-converging paths: inside the organization or outside as a spy. The external path is harder and gives worse Act III positioning.

Act III (planned — tight/climactic): Sulu Archipelago. One-way destination. Everything converges.


Endings: Binary on three independent axes — mission success/failure, mother saved/lost, protagonist survival — plus an epilogue. Eight possible ending combinations.

One of the best HTML games out there. Genre wise it is a choose-your-own-adventure type game, so be prepared to read a lot of text. Writing is solid, not an obtuse graphomaniac letter vomit. Plot itself is essentially a parody of Red Sparrow ( which itself is just lewd fantasies of a retired bond wannabe ), which should be evident from game name. For now best part of the game in concentrated in the beginning of the game, during protags growing up. The spy part for now is kinda meh and mostly railroaded. I hope it will change with time.

Also game needs incest tag, as you can start romance with your dad... and few other relatives.

For now best part of the game in concentrated in the beginning of the game, during protags growing up. The spy part for now is kinda meh and mostly railroaded. I hope it will change with time.

Oh yeah. I knew I forgot something. I was just copying the tags that was listed, since it was 4am when I did it. Lmfao. There are other tags I neglected, now that I'm sitting here thinking about it, such as "lesbian" and "interracial."

This is a "post coffee consumption" task. I'll update in a bit. Thanks for the reminder, though. If you hadn't said anything I probably never would have thought about it.
