Should have just stuck to the og lolis with no patch, and just have that content toggle in the settings for those that would rather avoid that (though then why play a loli AVN?). Call bull on this, it's a common excuse with devs who want a break.

They looked kinda funny anyway. Like low-polygon Pixar stuff. I know it would be a lot of work but this would be a great opportunity to re-render the whole thing while he was at it if he is remaking the characters (make them actually attractive and less cartoony, it might get more supporters). Story/code is already done so that's a +, though 5000 renders and nothing else to do can get tedious I imagine. Of course had he got a $9/mo Backblaze account he probably wouldn't have lost the assets to begin with. It really blows my mind why no back up when it's the difference between making money and not making money. I mean I have backups of my movie, porn, and AVN collections that I don't make a dime with (over 220TB) so to me it's just weird when it's more important than that and also probably not even 1% that size.

I actually kinda liked it, thought it was cute. I know, not what you expect in an AVN - but that made it stand out.

Apparently because "smol" is just Discord slang for "loli" since Discord actively searched for and wiped accounts using that word. I once got into an argument on this very site about using "smol" to mean basically "hebe" and was informed by several people that smol meant loli and did not mean hebe, teen or anything else.

Yeah pretty sure that's the etymology of it with it starting on Discord as a loli euphemism to circumvent their stupid TOS and censorship. Now it seems to me smol is what they call every small girl or woman, regardless her age so it's now more a body type thing. Though to me that sounds like a quick on-the-spot explanation made up when someone is caught fapping to a loli AVN or other loli porn, as they don't want to be assumed to be a closeted ped0 as most such awkward situations would end up even though they were fapping to a cartoon version of a 7-12yo girl so just made up some bullshit on-the-fly. "No, this isn't what it looks like, she's actually 18, she just looks 10!" To me for an AVN tag loli should be an actual loli (girl age 12 and under), hebe/teen 13-17, smol 18+ that just happen to look like lolis. That would put an end to alot of confusion and wasted bandwidth and time when people download a "loli" AVN expecting lolis but only end up with smols or at best hebes or at worst lewd 22yo midgets that are in college.

Just click the tag you are interested in and you will find other AVNs with that tag, though it's not 100% accurate (ie loli tag but no lolis (prepubescent girls), only old women that are short with small tits, incest tag but only stepcest or doesn't involve the MC, etc). To me this was just something to do while Money or Morals was on hold. Now that's back in dev I don't even keep up with this one anymore, lost interest anyway after the rework.

Damn, remember playin this one when it was still "smol" oriented, but reading all the message above the evolution from Smoly to Tally seemed quite wierd.
There's a part of me that wanna DL it in it current state and see what the fuss is about, but the current models sneak pic i see don't really motivate me much.

At this point I'm no longer surprised anymore enough to be disappointed. I'm where every last AVN I keep up with I only expect maybe 10% of them to actually eventually get a completed tag, with most of those having rushed endings to avoid the dev getting an abandoned AVN tag on his record if they are planning to start another one. Only 100% reliable dev I've come across so far (7 AVNs finished and counting) is Daniels K, but his AVNs are whitewashed for Patreon and rather boring and often with rather disappointing endings even for those into them enough to follow them every update.

I think 10% estimated completion rate is too generous. At this point I only start playing games after 5-6 updates so even when abandoned there is sufficient content to have been worthwhile. To get financial support it needs not just be a good game, but one with some track record.

To be fair, it's not a mystery that making a game is hard
A lot of peoples throw themselves into the adventure not really knowing where to go or what to do.
it's not surprising then that a lot prefer to stop when issues start to pile up, or try to keep their passion project alive no matter what change they have to do

Yeah him too. His first one DMD took some doing after Patreon starting banning everybody then SS was started and he moved there. Hopefully his next AVN will be better than the current one. It has incest, but unlike DMD or even SL kind of feels like an added afterthought when the MC isn't trying to steal something. I'm surprised that aside from SSP there's not that many stories with that as the main plot.
