Give me the best movie you watched from 2014 to 2024

Wow. This question made me realize how few great movies has been made since 2014. I litterally couldnt come up with a single great one that was made in those years. I checked imdb top 250 movies and it almost seems like the breaking point from truly great to just decent was 2014 with interstellar. ofc theres good movies after 2014 im sure - but i have a hard time comming up with any.

Curious to see what people come up with.

Damn, evil time range... Almost everything in my moviecollection is older, movie writing has really gone down badly the last decade

I have to pick the John Wick movies. I think that's the only 2014+ movie where I've been actively excited for the next ones

Honorable shoutout to Detective Pikachu and the Sonic movies, since kid's movies rarely top anyone's charts

Vengeance (2009) and Under the Silver Lake are two that I really enjoyed and don't see people talking about very much.
Bullet Train and the Fall Guy were a lot of fun.

Honorable mention to Parasite. Sicarios movies were good too.

Also loved the first John Wick.

And The Matador (2005) was a fun surprise I saw recently. Highly recommended.

Interstellar and Arrival are some of my all time favourites. While not normally my cup of tea "Oppenheimer" was also a great watch and deserved the hype around it

man 10 years of movies its hard to narrow down what i think the best is of the stuff that was good hmmm i would have to probably say the deadpool 1/2/wolverine movies just because they are the closest thing to a old school style comedy movie now adays. seeing that i dont find alot/most of the current ''comedy'' stuff funny. but here are some honorable mentions: the wild robot, Leo (2023 adam sandler), sonic the hedgehog 1&2, john wick.

Yea this is tough.. I would have to say probably just about any move that has Tom Hanks is guaranteed perfection.. Sully, Inferno, The Post and Greyhound and A man called Otto are my favorites of this 10 year span! John Wick 1-2 were good 3-4 were comparable to fast 8-10 exaggerated and blown to extremes. I am all for far fetched and Sci-fi heavy movies but at some point it is just idk.. too much? Look at transformers, and even Avengers.. Just pushing the movies out left and right. I haven't watched a Marvel movie since Spider-Man No Way Home, it is too much and got boring. Anyone else think so?

Maybe The Revenant,The Grand Budapest Hotel or The Martian ( Seul sur Mars in french). I really liked Jojo Rabbit too, it was fun.

Agree that most movies now suck. Especially horror. Too many rather than horror are "torture porn."
