Depends on the game type, if it is easy to follow for 100% like sandbox or something. Usually then do all the content, where as if it is visual novel only "true ending" aka what I choose backtracking deadends if any.

I really don't choose the single LI, but I like the choice to eliminate LIs that I deem not sexy. Like if I'm playing a loli game, I don't want my 50 yr old boss in the harem. Pick and choose, but I usually go for the harem.

I can't remember a single time when given the Harem choice that I did not take it. It's Fantasy at least for me.

I'd play through multiple times for all ending, but my first go-to ending would be a non-harem if possible.

It depends on how many of the options I like. But I'm into polyamory so it's my go-to.

It heavily depends if the endings are different. Take Parental Love for example. It has way different endings for all. Of course, harem being the best one.
If it's different, I'll replay through all of them.

Usually, I'd go for the harem ending unless the harem is one of these incomplete harems where you can only have a select few of the girls then I tend to avoid it and go for the hot redhead if there is one. Harem to me signifies that it's either all or nothing, not a small selection

If one character is clearly more attractive than the others, and some of the other characters are not what I'm into at all, I'd rather take the one character I really like over having to see/constantly skip scenes with characters I dislike.

If you don't choose the non harem ending, then wtf are you playing the game for? The dev took the time to render it and the least you can do is choose every option and see everything, both harem and non. If you don't do everything possible in a game, then you haven't played the game properly

Who cares? I never go solo routes if i have the choice.
I also never cause a genocide in mass effect just because its possible to choose one species over the other.
