Ty, that seems handy!
I'm clearly an amateur though and got this error:

Mind giving me a hint as to what I'm doing wrong here? :)
Seems you didn't just copy/paste my code? You made the same mistake I spent 10 min on fixing: the last bit, ",0", needs to be ";0" (all parameters need to be separated by ";", not ","). Though that would prevent me from even entering the formula and could not produce this error 🤔
Maybe, just thinking logically here, if your program accepts a comma as argument separator the "LOG10(1+0,2)" would read as 2 parameters: "1+0" and "2" (btw: it needs to be 0.02!). If you use a dot as decimal separator try "0.02" (we use a comma).

TLDR:
=NOW() + ROUNDUP((LOG10(34000/A1))/(LOG10(1+0.02)),0)
😙

That's absolutely bonkers :p
How long did it take you?

Seems like the hard part is getting a respectable principle put together, then just a brief daily visit is all your need to grow things nicely :)
Not long about 3 or 4 months, I think I started with about 40 or 50k in the bank, I am far from the richest member on here.;)

Ngl not sure what wizardry you just implemented, but it works which is what matters :)
Thank you so much! 🫡

I was gonna say 3/4 months is a very encouraging timeline...but you started w 50k in the bank? 👀

That's less than some of us get each day in interest from the bank...

Dang, we'll I'd say you have earned that the hard way with your 9k comments :p

Speaking of which, idk what's this "bonus" - but the price just went up from ~ 600 to 750? :cautious:

I think the discount sale that was available for each of the tiers just expired. Prestige 4 is back at 40,000 now

Also, comments aren't worth it for earning coins. You want to get reactions from the other users.

While @conzibald gave away too many coins early on, the other 4 on this list are among the top richest users on the site.

If you want to earn coins, make good posts that people react to.

And i stopped collecting interest a long time ago. that is i think the biggest reason i am not part of the 1% of LC

Yeah that figures, it truly do be the reactions that count
I haven't really learned the art of using memes on a regular basis
But once you do I bet reactions go through the roof
Especially if you're really skillful with them :)

But what's this, users can just gift coins to others?
Woah

Seems like a gamechanger
Especially if some generous benefactor decided to help a new user early on
To get that compounding interest going :p
(just joking)

Dunno, what you have to do for that. But afaik they are all sitting on their coins and hoarding it.
LC coins are not a finite resource, it makes no difference for LCs "economy" whether they are "hoarded" or not. It's not like real money, which is more useful when it remains in circulation.
The next rank may come and those users might want to be able to buy it when the time comes.

BTW gifting coins undermines the purpose of the credits system, which is to make it a bit harder to see the games+ and to encourage participation in the Forum.

Exactly. When new things arrive to spend coins on, some people will have them already.

That's why the coins that come from mime are only for participating in the site.

Making posts is the easiest way to get coins, by just making posts I was able to get all 4 Prestige levels in just over a month and still had 8k in spare change.;)

Woah that's a crazy, it's what over 1k per day?
I think I'm averaging 150/day rn, heavily skewed by my first day blitz
I guess if you spam enough posts and are a skilled meme wizard anything's possible :p

Exactly. It really won't take long to get there. We've had plenty of people who bought P4 a week or two after starting their journey.

Back when I was active in the lurker thread, I'd get 2k-5k a day. The thread is less active, so I'd guess 1k-3k a day is more reasonable now.

Heh that pace though you're chilling here on the regular :)
It's like anything I suppose, you get results based on your inputs

Figure I'll keep visiting once a day and like/reply to anything interesting, will take a while to accumulate enough coins but that's ok

I have never spammed on this site, the posts I made were replying to other members.;) There is no need to farm or spam for coins.(y)

Here is the proof on how easy it is to get all the Prestige levels...

This is completely accurate. It's the non-spammy posts that get the best reactions. And reactions are where the coins come from. The per-post coins aren't enough to matter at all.

To get 1k a day from posting without reactions is hundreds of posts a day.

To get 1k from reactions, you can make 20 posts with 9 reactions each. Much more reasonable.
