One of those games that won't launch in linux at all because of wrongly written scripts and python files. A full rebuild with RenPy SDK 8.1.3 fixed the game, LOL

Edit: bad graphics, even worse image processing program, like IrfanView or similar. This is what happens (observe the colored grains) when you "tell" the program to save alpha colors (alpha is transparency) but in reality there's no transparency in the image:

Good News, well...good for me and anyone who still wants to see development continue on this and my other ideas...

I will be purchasing a new PC here shortly...and I will need to move some hard drives around when it gets here so I have my stuff. So I should be able to resume development. I will know when the PC gets here when I actually order it.

So happy...The Frankenputer has decided to get assy...I think it's going to finally give up here pretty soon...Fans are making a lot of chattering noises, and I've used about half a can of air and oiled them with 3-in-1 already...and they still sound like there's rocks in the bearings. Sigh...

OK. I got a surprise. The computer showed up a couple days early. Still in the process of moving stuff around. So far tests show that this computer renders fast as fuck. Previously I'd be rendering character only with no background in about 10 min or so. I just ran a quick test...and it was done within 5 seconds. So once I get stuff sorted, I will start cranking.

OK. So another bit of good news. It looks like I shouldn't have any issues with animations...Running a render right now, looks to be about 148 frames and I just completed frame 113. It's been about 15 min.

If I can figure out how...I can get Sue to Gen 8 via Teen Josie 7 for Teen Josie 8, but Jack is built on Aiden for Michael 7 while Cait is Tween Julie.
I can probable just use different models, and wouldn't make a HUGE difference since I am essentially going to start from scratch. I also think I installed an asset that fucks up some of the models...but not sure what it will be tbh.
Side note...The .avi test is actually nearly complete and it's been about 20 min.

Originally yes, technically.

In the original incarnation of the story, Martin (The Father) was banging his secretary. Who was actually his daughter from an extra-marital affair.

That story just got messed up. Due to the hardware and medical issues that developed, I was unable to do shit.

The version I am dubbing "Rechimped!" for the first couple releases will only have B/S.

Future games I am planning will have f/d, b/s, and even some m/s, But the specific story for Family Way is going to be strictly Jack-Sue-Cait.

Fostered Love, won't have any incest. Just strictly the mc and smols. That one is also going to get completely redone.

OK. I have a messed up asset or assets somewhere. I go to try to add stuff and it gives models a baby face. No idea.
I am slowly re-adding assets until I figure out what one does it...1500 dimms alone to go thru. Wee! Initial test of Sue. I don't have any clothing installed, and the model is base Teen Josie 7 for Teen Josie 8. No gens installed as of yet tho. This took like 5 seconds to render. The Frankenputer would have been about 10 min. hah

Ok. Got a comparison up now. From left to right we have Teen Josie 8, Teen Josie 7 for Teen Josie 8 and Teen Josie 7


I could still totally go a different route, and I might. Might actually take a look at Genesis 9 models...
Of these three, I kinda like TJ7for8 and TJ8 the best...they look the right age I want Sue at. Age 18. TJ8 looks a bit too angular tho. Also remember these are base models with default mats applied. All using the Eclectic Hair for Genesis 3.
