the first game i ever played was an old arcade version of asteriod. i remember watching my uncle play lots of super mario, but it wasn't until years later that i picked out a random playstation game from a bargain bin for my parents to buy. it turned out to be metal gear solid. that was my first real experience actually getting enthralled and transported into a new world with games. imo, i couldn't have gotten luckier with that random game snag.

I got hooked into playing Daytona USA on my uncle's Sega Console, which he later gifted me. I believe that was the start of my gaming life

I think my earliest memory of gaming is Rainbow Island and Bubble Bobble. Maaaan I spent a long time on bubble bobble. Although I think my first console game was probably Spyro the Dragon.

The original Civilization.. I bought the game before I had a computer :D

As a kid I often watched my uncle play the first Witcher, but I never understood why I couldn't look at the cutscenes after which the cards appeared... :sneaky: Well, and then there's Gothic. So those are the first two games that probably started this merry-go-round.

Some textbased country management for dos, our first PC had only 2 5,25 Floppy drives and no HDD. When i managed to save one of the outdated PCs from one of my sidejobs from getting scrapped (386, 40mb HDD and VGA) i mostly played "Battle Arena Toshinden", "One Must Fall", "Star Trek: A Final Unity", "Star Trek: Generations", "DS9: Harbinger" and "Crusader: No Remorse", but dont ask me what i played first ^^

Not a game but a console. The N64

Shit, mighta been pong or at least something like that on atari. I was there 3000 years ago.

PvZ was the first game I ever played but the first Half-Life was the one that got me hooked to videogames

My uncle always had the newest computer equipment for his work and also for gaming. So I got into gaming. My first game I can remember was "Super Pipeline" on C64. My first DOS game was "Stunts". I liked it because of the track editor. Now I'm feeling old... 👴

On PC : the very first Football Manager... That and the first Red Alert.

I played Sonic the Hedgehog 1 on my father’s console for months. Then I discovered Final Fantasy, since then Im in love with RPGs and gaming in general.

Playing Halo coop at my old friends house. Probably was something before that but this is the one that I remember most fondly.

One of the earliest game I remember playing was Tekken 3. Man I loved that game. I sucked at it tho, still do.

The original Zelda, first game I remember playing where I was just hooked.

40 years ago computer games weren't popular but Atari and Nintendo were.

Didn't play my first PC game until Baldur's Gate, Fallout, and Command and Conquer.

Anyway to answer your question boredom and curiosity.

Space Invaders. I first played it at an arcade and was hooked on games since then.

No particular game really.
Just that my favorite franchises like Ben10/Naruto/Dragon Ball/Marvel/DC also had video games.
Though I already played PC First Person Shooters from a young age.
