discussion Thoughts on Pineapple on Pizza?

Not my personal favorite (its a texture thing) but I will order it for my friends with no judgement

Its alright and I order it sometimes if I am in the mood. But I prefer it with curry sauce and chicken instead of the more classic one with ham.

pineapple on pizza (which is usually accommodated by ham) is not terrible but id prefer sausage meat and pepperoni.
the real offender is meatless vegan pizza

That it's a toping like any other. It's acidic, thus it adds another flavor profile to the pizza. Never understood what was the big deal.

When I was young we used to take these squared sliced pieces of white bread (that are made for toasting you know) and just butter it, put one slice of pineapple on it, then cover with cheese, and pop it in the microwave to make the cheese melt all over the pineapple. Yummmm....so good. So when I first found pineapple pizza, I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. It's ok. I never buy it, but I don't mind eating it if I get treated to it.

Look...I am no fan of pineapple on pizza...but I abandoned that crusade when I saw THIS abomination that should be banned throughout the multiverse and beyond.
It's called "Peepza"

the creator of this needs to eat several bullets... also pineapple has its time and place on pizza but that is in my opinion rarely

So I personally do not like pineapple on pizza. It's gross, yucky and gross. BUT, the debate over pineapple on pizza eclipses and overshadows a far more sinister pizza topping: anchovies.

Anchovies on pizza is actually freaking disgusting. It's horrible. I don't like pineapple, but at least I could understand why someone might like pineapple on pizza. The taste isn't for me, but that's just how taste buds are. Anchovies are insanely salty, like way, way too salty (like me right now). You get a single anchovy in your mouth, and it's like somebody dropped a bomb comprised of salt right into your stupid mouth.

Now don't get me wrong, I love salt, but it's just too much! You don't get people into vegemite by obliterating their taste buds. But something that might honestly be worse is their texture. They're hairy. Anytime you eat an anchovy on pizza, not only do you scrunch up your face like a cat's butthole, but you also finish your cat LARP by start dealing with fur balls as well. It's just awful in every way, I cannot understand people who like them.

Uh, anyway, pineapple! Yeah, not a fan.
