Seeing the same 3d daz models over and over again gets boring, and the models sometimes contort weirdly when posed so I prefer 2d

im not saying either is better or worse they both have upsides i was just curious what people prefer as with everything it is all about preferance

I usually go for 3D, but seeing same asset models over and over and over makes it hard to enjoy. I kinda been trying to get into 2D, but meh...
Then AI just freaks me out.

ai does have a long way to go without a doubt but it will eventually get there not sure if thats a good thing or not though

I enjoy a lot of the 2D stuff, but I think a lot better scenes can be done with 3D as you can model more than a few shots of motion. I guess it depends on how it's used, I like some them equally if they're good

for games im fine with either, now animation i prefer 2d hand drawn stuff

It's very rare to see well done 2D or 3D art, but there are some examples of greate games in both styles (dimensions?). But actually I prefer stylish 2D, because if it's done well I can appreciate the talent and hard work of the author. Of course 3D sculpturers are also very talented, nonetheless there aren't many 3D game arts created entirely from scratch by developers - they mostly use presets.

2d for the more extreme fetishes, 3d for the more milder ones. Sometimes super realistic 3d models weirds me out, just my opinion.

I gotta go with 3d because overall thats what all the good games i played are

I honestly like both. Helps provide some variety between games.

There are some 2D adventures that are very good, for that style of game at least. On the other hand, 3D is more about telling a story, and trying to immerse you in it. at least that's my point of view

2d is really good

It used to be 2d. And for certain type of content it still is. But nowadays I gravitate more towards 3d.
